Cloud Computing in Simple Terms?

     Enabling Users to subscribe Hardware, Software and related services instead of buying.Users can pay for infrastructure and services when needed. It provides agility,scalability and reliability.

Characteristics:

1) On Demand Self Service -enabling users to use cloud computing resources without requiring human interaction.

2)Broad Network Access - will make sure cloud resources are accessible via the network

3) Resource Pooling -let same resources be used by multiple customers

4) Can be accessed  via laptop,mobile,tablets anytime anywhere.

Service Models in Oracle Cloud

There are 3 service models in Oracle Cloud.They are

1)SAAS (Software as a Service)

        Applications are delivered as a service to the endusers over the internet.

2)PAAS (Platform as a Service)

        Application Development and Deployment Platform is delivered as a service to the developer, enabling them to quickly build and deploy their SAAS Application to the end users.

3) IAAS (Infrastructure as a Service)

  Is where computing hardware like server, storage and networks is delivered as a service. Organizations use their own platforms and applications within a service provider's infrastructure.
